The Pasir Gudang World Kite Festival has been held annually since 1995 and is one of Johor's signature events. This tourism event is
organized by the Pasir Gudang City Council (MBPG) in collaboration with the Johor Kite Association (PPJ) and the Malaysian Kite
Council (MPM), with support from Tourism Johor, Tourism Malaysia, and several strategic partners such as Ibrahim Sultan Polytechnic,
the Pasir Gudang Community College, and the Pasir Gudang Industrial Training Institute.
Recognized as the largest kite festival in the country, this year’s event will feature 126 international participants from 44 countries
worldwide, along with 250 participants representing Malaysian states under the MPM coalition. The Pasir Gudang World Kite Festival
this year also collaborates with the Perlis state government through the organization of the Perlis International Kite Fiesta on February
18, 2025, and the organizers of the Satun International Kite Festival, Thailand, from February 20 to 23, 2025. (CIRCUIT 1)
